Patient Participation Group

What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) was formed to encourage patients and the local community to participate in the successful running of our Practice. The idea of the Patient Participation Group is to ensure that we have a channel of communication with our patients, whom we can consult with on, regarding the range and quality of the services that we provide.

We have set up a virtual Patient Participation Group so that you can have your say. We will ask the members of this group questions from time to time, regarding the quality of the care or service you received. We will contact you via email and keep our surveys etc short, so as not to take up too much of your time.

We would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our surgery and staff.

Interested ? Please join us.

We would like our Patient Participation Group to be truly representative of our patient population – especially young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups. No special qualifications or experience are required. We are a friendly group, and we would like to warmly welcome you all to our Group. We aim to gather around a hundred patients from as broad a spectrum as possible to get a truly representative sample.
