New Appointment System
Please be aware that we will be changing our Appointment System as of Thursday 1st June. During this time we will all be working very hard to make sure that things go as smoothly as possible, please bear with us during this period.
The main difference that patients will see is the need to use a different method to book Online Appointments. From 1st June Online Appointments will need to be booked via Patient Access or the NHS App. Many of you are already using one of these to order your Repeat Prescriptions. If you are already ordering your Repeat Prescriptions online, then you should automatically find that you are able to book Appointments Online too via the same App.
If you find this is not the case, please contact us so that we can look to resolve this for you. If you are not already Registered to order your Medication Online you will need to collect an Online Services Application Form (for Appointments Online and Repeat Medication) from the Surgery, so that we can get you set up to use the new booking system.
Practice Closure Afternoons
The local (ICB) Integrated Care Board, have advised us that Monthly Training Afternoons for General Practice are being re-introduced. This means that the Surgery will close at 2.30pm on the following dates:
- 24 May 2023
- 21 June 2023
- 19 July 2023
- 20 September 2023
- 18 October 2023
- 22 November 2023
- 24 January 2024
- 28 February 2024
- 27 March 2024
During these afternoons, Emergency GP Care will be available to our patients by calling 111.
Changes to our Surgeries GP Team
Many of you will already be aware that Dr Krys Jarosz is retiring. I am very pleased to be able to advise you that Dr Liz Mather will be joining the team and working with us on Mondays and Thursdays going forward.
